Singapore Pools Launches New Customer Service Platform

The new GRA-approved license runs from 25 October 2022 to 24 October 2025, and will allow Singapore Pools to offer betting services at a total of 297 venues across the city-state. These include outlets within the city-state’s renowned Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa developments, as well as its Singapore Racecourse horseracing property.
In an effort to streamline its operations, Singapore Pools is launching a new customer service platform that includes digital channels, a mobile app and a new central system. This technology will allow the organisation to continue its efforts to improve its customer experience and support its work to fight illegal gambling activities.
This new platform also supports Singapore Pools’ efforts to tackle antisocial gambling activities, and to help customers onboard, manage their accounts and bet online. It will also allow the company to provide better customer service and build trust with its consumers, enabling it to maintain the level of confidence they have come to expect from it.
To help combat antisocial gambling, Singapore Pools has worked closely with the authorities to establish new procedures and processes that enable its staff to detect suspicious bettors more easily and ensure that those found guilty of violating the rules are prosecuted accordingly. This is being done through improved monitoring, surveillance and enhanced anti-corruption measures.
As a Singapore-based state-owned company, Singapore Pools is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance. Its activities are regulated by the Tote Board, a statutory board that reports to the Finance Ministry.
