The Winner of the Singapore Prize Will Be Announced on October 2, 2021

Among the many awards and accolades that Singapore has received is a prize titled “Singapore Prize”, named after its founder, which is an award for excellence in various fields. This award is given by the Singapore Government and it has different categories for the winners to choose from. This includes the categories such as science, arts, culture and innovation. This award is considered to be the highest honour that one can receive in Singapore. It was created in 1992 and is a way for the government to recognise the best individuals in the country.

The winner of the singapore prize will be announced on October 2, 2021, and will have a chance to win the top prize of up to $1 million. You can buy Toto tickets from any of the Singapore Pools outlets, including Giant supermarkets in Pioneer Mall and FairPrice in The Woodleigh Mall, or online at the SGP app.

British Prince William joined celebrities and philanthropists on the green carpet at a glittering ceremony in Singapore this week to announce the three winners of the third annual Earthshot Prize (TEP). The awards ceremony was held in Asia for the first time and featured innovations from across Southeast Asia, from solar-powered dryers that reduce clothing waste to a technology that makes electric car batteries more environmentally friendly. Prince William, who is a trustee of TEP and chair of the global United for Wildlife initiative, said the winning solutions offered “hope” in the face of climate change.

In a show of support for Singapore’s national day, he will also meet people at a local community event and try his hand at dragon boating on the Singapore River. He will visit a school that uses the TEP award money to help children with learning difficulties, and meet representatives of organisations working to combat illegal wildlife trade, which has been estimated to be worth $20 billion a year.

This year, the TEP has partnered with Conservation International (CI) to leverage its long history of spotlighting biodiversity and its vast network of partners committed to scalable, innovative solutions for people and nature. CI will help guide the selection of TEP Prize Winners and connect them with their range of investors, granting agencies and others who are dedicated to nature to access catalytic funding for their work.

The NUS Singapore History Prize, administered by the university’s department of history, awarded a book on the roots of modern Malaysian cuisine as its merit winner this year. It was selected by a jury led by Professor Wang Gungwu, and is the first book prize dedicated solely to Singapore history. Its theme this year is resonance, in keeping with the belief that nations are forged through shared imagination and storytelling. The prizes are part of a broader programme to mark Singapore’s 50th anniversary in 2022.
