Another area of focus is the company’s work with the government and the public to combat illegal gambling activities. It has a team of dedicated counsellors to help problem gamblers and is working with the government to provide better data on the issue. However, it recognises that a blanket ban on betting is unlikely to succeed and will simply drive the industry underground. It has therefore opted to create an online platform that will enable consumers to bet legally.
In terms of its product offerings, Singapore Pools offers a range of lottery games and sports bets. Its most popular products are Toto and 4D, both of which have jackpots that can reach millions of dollars. It also offers sports bets, such as football and Formula 1 motor racing. However, regulations prevent it from offering casino games like poker or blackjack. Its customer base is primarily comprised of adults over 21.
